Terms and Conditions
Scope and company
These terms govern the Creator Program application for publishing digital content, selling access and receiving earnings. By accepting them, you enter into an agreement with Creator Program Inc., the company operating this service.
Creator Program Inc. is owned by TapTrap, LLC. These terms cover the content-selling application. The separate marketing website has its own legal notices.
1. Acceptance and eligibility
You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter into this agreement. By accepting these terms, you confirm that you meet these requirements. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Your account
Provide accurate information, keep your contact and payout details current, and protect access to your account. Do not impersonate another person or use the service to evade restrictions or security controls.
Your username, picture and published content previews are public. Your drafts, legal name, email, birthdate, country, phone number and payout details are not displayed on your public profile. We use this information to operate your account, administer payments and meet legal and security obligations.
3. Your content and rights
You retain ownership of your content. Upload and sell only files you own or for which you have all necessary rights and permissions, including permissions from people featured in them. Your content and its sale must comply with applicable laws and respect other people's rights.
You grant us a non-exclusive license to store and process your files, create and display previews, and deliver purchased versions to authorized buyers. This license is limited to operating the service; it does not transfer ownership or authorize unrelated advertising use without your permission. It may continue to fulfill existing purchases and legal obligations.
4. Purchases and content access
A purchase grants access to the file version purchased. It does not transfer intellectual property ownership or grant permission to resell or redistribute the file. Private access links must not be shared.
Buyers normally retain access to that version when the creator replaces, unpublishes or removes the file from their profile. We may restrict access following a full refund, an unresolved or lost payment dispute, abuse, security concerns or legal requirements. A takedown involving illegal or infringing content may also affect access to earlier purchases.
5. Stripe and transaction fees
Buyer payments are processed through Stripe. We charge a platform commission of 10% of the sale price. The minimum sale price is $5 USD. Your earnings are calculated from the sale price less this commission and the separate actual Stripe processing fees. Payment providers may charge other fees under their own terms.
We reserve the right to introduce or change a per-transaction fee, whether a fixed amount, a percentage or both. We will communicate the change, its amount or calculation and its effective date by email or in the application before applying it. Changes apply only to future transactions, not completed sales. You can stop selling before they take effect.
6. Earnings and withdrawals
Earnings become available for withdrawal when Stripe confirms settlement and actual fees are known. You can request a PayPal withdrawal subject to the current minimum shown on the withdrawal screen when you have sufficient available balance. Keep your PayPal details accurate.
Payouts are processed manually. A pending request does not guarantee a payment date; settlement, security reviews, disputes and provider availability may cause delays. Available balances can change because of refunds, disputes or adjustments. Holds during a review are addressed in section 8.
7. Refunds, disputes and taxes
Refunds and payment disputes may reduce your earnings, prevent withdrawals or create a negative balance, including after a payout. We do not guarantee that providers will return processing fees. We may deduct substantiated obligations arising from your transactions from your balance, subject to applicable law and provider rules.
You are responsible for taxes applicable to your earnings and for providing information needed to meet tax obligations. These terms do not limit buyers' statutory refund or other mandatory rights.
8. Acceptable use, reviews and account closure
Do not use Creator Program for fraud, unlawful activity, stolen content, infringement or unauthorized redistribution. When we have reasonable grounds to suspect such conduct, we may remove content, suspend sales or access, or close an account to protect buyers, rights holders and the service.
We may also temporarily hold affected earnings or delay payouts while reviewing activity or an ownership claim. We may request evidence of identity, ownership, licenses, permissions or legitimate transactions. Where lawful and compatible with the investigation, we will explain the reason and give you an opportunity to provide evidence using the contact details below.
A hold does not transfer ownership of your funds to us. We will review the evidence and release amounts lawfully owed to you when the reason for the hold is resolved, less refunds, disputes or other substantiated obligations. Legal orders or provider restrictions may require a longer hold. Request account deletion in the iOS app settings or contact support if you cannot access the app. Your public profile and new sales stop immediately; withdrawals remain available. Ordinary withdrawals use the current configured minimum, and support can issue a final payout below that minimum. We complete deletion manually within 30 days after balances, unsettled earnings, pending payouts, fees, refunds and disputes are resolved. Existing buyer access and required transaction records are retained.
9. Personal data, cookies and providers
We do not sell your personal data or share it for advertising within the application. We use it to provide the service, administer accounts, payments and communications, protect against fraud and meet legal obligations. We share information needed for these purposes with payment, hosting, storage, communications and security providers. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and share your information and the choices available to you. We may also disclose information where required by law or necessary to address a legitimate claim.
The application uses cookies to maintain your session and remember your language. On public content pages, a first-party cookie with a random identifier counts unique visits; it is not a verified identity. The application does not load advertising or session-recording tools. The separate marketing website uses Microsoft Clarity and Google Ads and is governed by its own privacy notices.
Stripe handles payment information under its own policies and may use cookies and similar technologies to process payments, secure its service and detect fraud. Preferences and other cookie uses on Stripe sites are governed by its policies. You can review those details and manage cookies through your browser or controls offered by Stripe.
We retain account, transaction and security data as needed to operate the service, fulfill purchases, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations. You can contact us to request access, correction or deletion of your data; some obligations may require us to retain particular records.
10. Changes and communications
We may update these terms to reflect service changes or legal requirements. We will communicate material changes and their effective date by email or in the application before applying them. Fee changes are also subject to section 5. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
